What is matchmaking?
Matchmaking is the process used to connect single people with intentional and compatible matches! The purpose of matchmaking is to form relationships that lead to marriage or a long-term companionship.
Who picks all of the matches that you make?
What is the difference between a Matched With Love client and member?
We conduct active searches on behalf of our matchmaking clients and introductions are guaranteed. We work with our clients to find their match through assessments, interviews, coaching sessions and more.
If you are a member, you are a part of our complimentary network of singles with the opportunity to match with one of our clients and you have first access to our events. For members, we do not conduct active searches and introductions are not guaranteed. By signing up to be a member, you are adding your information on file for our team to reference in case you match with one of our clients. In this case, you will receive a complimentary Matched With Love meeting and introduction to our client.
Our firm is located in Missouri, but if you live outside of the state you can become a member and we will let you know if one of our clients is your match. If you match with one of our clients, we will reach out to you for a meeting.
How long does the matchmaking process take?
Our Matched With Love founder and matchmaking advisor make the matches. They conduct all interviews with potential new members, oversee all of the hand-picked matches, and help provide valuable feedback following dates. During the process, our founder and matchmaking advisor pre-screen potential dates to ensure they are aligned with our client's values, interests, and relationship goals.
What happens if I don’t like my match?
It varies, however our client’s contracts can be active for three to 12 months. We do not make guarantees, but we do everything in our power to find your true match including working with other matchmakers across the country, recruiting and more!
What is date coaching?
Following the coordinated dates, our client will debrief with our matchmaker to ensure that the client would like to move forward with their match.
What happens if I meet someone outside of Matched With Love while my account is active?
Date Coaching is a process of one-on-one sessions where we address dating habits, attachment styles, and values, in order to set you up for a successful relationship. We will provide you with tools, coaching, and encouragement to ensure your prepared and ready to enter the modern dating world.
Does my data stay private?
We are happy you found someone special! Going forward, you have the option to freeze or delete your account. Freezing your account puts your status in “dormant” mode in case you wish to return. Deleting your account permanently would remove your details from the system. If you are a client, you will be expected to pay the normal rate. However, we make exceptions on a case to case basis.
Do you charge both men and women?
Yes, we do. However, we have a client to member model, so we only charge the client for our services.
How much does it cost?
Yes! We respect all of our clients’ privacy. We do not disclose last names, phone numbers or email addresses or any other personal information (without direct permission). Your information will remain confidential and secure. Our team uses this information to curate matches. Your specific responses will not be public to other people.
How do you make your matches?
We look at core values, personality traits, attachment styles, age range, location, etc. and make strategic decisions based on the client's life goals.
Is this like match.com or an online dating site?
How many clients do you work with at a time?
Our pricing varies based on the service you need. Our matchmaking services require a tailored process with pricing packages customized based on our client needs.
No, it is very different. Matched With Love is a personalized matchmaking and date coaching firm where a professional matchmaker and dating coach meets with you and connects you with vetted matches that would make great partners. We contact the matches directly as opposed to a system directing you to potential profiles.
What does Matched With Love classify as a "young professional"?
Matched With Love works with four to six clients at a time.
If I’m not located in the St. Louis area can I still use your services?
Our members and clients are primarily between 26 to 50 years old. You must be at least 21 years old to join our free database and utilize our services.
Currently, we are prioritizing St. Louis-based individuals as Matchmaking Clients. However, you do not have to be based in the St. Louis area to join our free network of singles or utilize our date and relationship coaching services. We also plan to expand - if you live in another location, you can add your name to our nationwide waitlist here.
